COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS POLICY UPDATE)

The health and safety of valued patients is of the utmost importance at PURE Dental Hygiene Care. As such I have been closely monitoring the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation and keeping up to date with the recommendations of the Public Health Agency of Canada, the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO) and the Royal College of Dentists of Ontario (RCDSO).

In doing my part to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 I will not be treating patients with any of the following:

1. fever and/or onset of (or exacerbation of chronic) cough

2. travel outside of Canada/USA within 14 days

3. close contact with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19 within 14 days

4. close contact with a person with acute respiratory illness who has travelled outside of Canada with 14 days

5. COVID-19 infection

If you have an appointment scheduled at PURE Dental Hygiene Care and fit any of the above criteria please call me in advance of your appointment to reschedule. If you are unsure if you should reschedule please call me for advice prior to your appointment.

Rest assured that I have always followed or exceeded the guidelines set out by Public Health and the CDHO for infection control.
